Most of my current jewelry is made from silver-plated wire (with the exception of a few silver-filled pieces). Silver plated jewelry has a layer of silver over another metal. This plating can wear off over time if the piece is worn frequently. If you would like me to remake your piece in stainless steel, add this option to your cart. Please note that stainless steel is a little darker in color, but it is tarnish more tarnish resistant and will not wear off. In the meantime, all of my silver-plated options are discounted. I am working on switching my inventory to completely stainless steel once the silver-plated jewelry sells out. Thank you!
